Rules & publishing policy
How publishing works
Accounts and publishing are free. You send a publish request with screenshots, a description and your download link. The admin checks it, and once approved it goes live with your name on it. ModBurn does not host mod files and never takes a cut.
1. Only publish your own work
Re-uploading someone else's mod, even with credit, is not allowed without written permission from the author. Converted or ripped models from other games are not allowed either.
2. Your link, your earnings
Link the mod wherever you like: ad-supported hosts such as Modsfire, normal hosts such as MediaFire or Google Drive, or a paid / early-access page on Ko-fi, Patreon or Gumroad. Mark paid mods as Paid so players know before they click.
Links must lead to the mod. Scam pages, fake download buttons and malware get the mod removed and the account banned. If you change a link after approval, the mod goes back for review.
3. Honest screenshots and descriptions
Use real in-game screenshots. Say which game version you tested on and what is included.
4. Respect each other
Critique the mod, not the person. Harassment, hate speech and spam get removed.
